Five Days until Fair - Final Info

Kia ora Maple whanau,

 

Five days until the Michael Park School fair! Primrose Teas cafe prep is going really well.

 

Thankyou for doing your bit for our Primrose Tea Cafe and a special thanks to Brian for providing the coffee machine and several other point of sale items.

 

Please deliver your food items this Friday afternoon 2-4pm to Kowhai Kindy (to the right of Maple) or on Saturday morning 8-9am.

 

All plates for displaying the food will be provided so don’t worry about plates, unless you have a  cake which is tricky to transfer. Please label your containers with your name so we can get them back to you after the fair.

 

We need cake slices and tongs for serving, please bring them along with your food.

 

If possible, please do not slice your items. We need to try to keep our sizes uniform for pricing. If you do have to slice, think cafe style sizes.

 

Food item labels will be available at Maple porch the week leading up to the fair.

 

On the front of the label write the name of the item eg. ‘Vegan Chocolate Slice’ and on the back of the label write a full list of ingredients, highlighting allergens such as egg, nuts etc.
Especially note if your item is vegan, dairy-free or gluten free.

 

There are also a few Fairy Queen items still required, see below if you can help.

-          Florist paper/brown paper

-          Hooks for hanging cloth

-          Needle and thread

-          Buckets to put flowers in – bring Thursday

-          Flowers and greenery – all families bring Friday

 We also need two volunteers to make willow crowns/posies on Friday before the fair - please add your name to the roster.

Could ALL families please bring flowers and greenery for Fairy Queen on Friday at pick up time, whether its wild flowers, flowers from your garden, neighbours or purchased  - all are greatly appreciated.
