Legalize Seven Coffee Roasters

Hey folks,

As you may know, corner stores in residential zones in Seattle like Seven Coffee Roasters & Cafe exist in a kind of legal limbo, where they are allowed to continue to exist, but if they were ever to burn down or need major reconstruction they could never return — and no new ones can open. So SNG is teaming up with Futurewise and the GSBA to ask the City Council to legalize corner stores across the city as part of the land use plan update (the comprehensive master plan process you may have heard about). This will help make our neighborhoods more walkable. 

How you can help:

1. Join me this Thursday evening for a meetup at Seven Coffee Roasters
2. Write to your city councilmembers to let them know you want to legalize corner stores
