INVITATION: Building Great Streets Event on May 19 at Town Hall

Hi All. We are hosting Shaping Seattle: Building Great Streets on Sunday, May 19th at Town Hall Seattle.

Join us for the event and help spread the word about Building Great Streets!

For this event, we've invited Laura Jane from HUB Cycling in Vancouver and Jean Beaudoin, an architect and engineer with Nomade Tactical Urbanism in Montreal to discuss how they’ve helped their cities build great streets. Laura has done remarkable work helping lead Vancouver to a robust biking mode share. Jean also has some amazing stories about how he's helped transform main streets in Montreal and other North American cities.

It will be a wonderful event to bring awareness about how street design can influence people's choices.

Doors for the event open at 1:30 PM. The program starts at 2:00 PM and will conclude around 4:00 PM.
