WHAT'S IN STORE:

Join us for an inspiring evening of community, celebration, and connection.

This year we’ll join together again online to celebrate the street spaces that helped our families, communities, and local businesses make it through a remarkably challenging couple of years. We’ll also share in the excitement for what’s coming to pass now through community-led ideas and action. Join us!!

In recognition of our 10th Anniversary, and 10 astounding years of high-impact grassroots advocacy, we’ll honor Seattle Neighborhood Greenways founder, Cathy Tuttle

We’re looking forward to offering our warmest regards and congratulations to Dongho Chang, former City Traffic Engineer for Seattle, as he moves into his new role at the state level.

And we’ll announce our Safe Streets Champions of 2021, recognizing rising leadership in our local streets-for-people movement!

We’ll feature community voices, inspiring videos, safe streets trivia prizes, opportunities to visit with friends and make new connections, and so much more.

Help us pay tribute to the amazing grassroots activism that built our Stay Healthy Streets, Cafe Streets, and Whose Streets? Our Streets! programs, and kicked off new visionary projects like Aurora Reimagined and the 15-Minute City this year.

We'll feature community voices, fantastic videos, safe streets trivia prizes, opportunities to visit with friends — and make new connections — plus so much more.

Throughout, we’ll celebrate the mission of Seattle Neighborhood Greenways that lets us re-imagine our public spaces in a way that puts people first. You don’t want to miss this.

All of our fundraising this night will go directly towards keeping this critical work moving forward.

ABOUT SEATTLE NEIGHBORHOOD GREENWAYS

Seattle Neighborhood Greenways is the leading grassroots advocacy group organizing and mobilizing people to make every neighborhood in Seattle a great place to walk, bike and live. We envision a future in which Seattle's streets unite neighborhoods and connect people to where they need to go. We push for community-identified investments that make neighborhoods safe for all people to walk, bike and roll. Since spring 2020, thanks to our advocacy, more than 20 miles of Seattle’s public streets have been closed to traffic and opened to walking, rolling, and biking via the citywide Stay Healthy Streets program so that Seattleites can get exercise and fresh air during the COVID pandemic. We are currently working to expand that open street network and make the closures permanent, including the city’s iconic Lake Washington Boulevard. In June 2020, in response to the ongoing outrage over criminally unjust police actions, SNG launched “Whose Streets? Our Streets!” an all-BIPOC working group to re-envision traffic enforcement and replace broken, racist policing systems with community solutions.

This special event is made possible with the support of our incredible sponsors and community partners — thank you, we simply could not have put this together without you.
