Here's a question I posted a few months ago without an answer.
Thought I'd try again in case there's a different set of eyes that
are watching the listserv today.

In MapInfo (8.5), how does one change the line spacing for a multi-
line label (i.e. so that the two lines of text are closer together or
farther apart)?

I eventually came up with a combination of (1) creating multiple
objects in the same location with different labels for each line of
the label, and (2) for a few items where this didn't work due to
where the label had to be placed, sticking the final map into a
Microsoft Word document and manually labeling the items using text
boxes. Please tell me there's a better way.

Coming across this issue today. Your workaround is smart, and thanks for sharing, but the lack of a settings-ready solution is very annoying. Especially since the default (and only) line spacing is way too big!
