Hi Rob,

Is MapInfo Professional a inevatible requirement?

Reason I ask is because Sharepoint is web based and MapInfo
Professional desktop.

So if you are looking for a web mapping component it might be easier/
better to use something like MapXtreme/MapInfo Developer or a solution
built on MapXtreme like Exponare or MapInfo Stratus.

Maybe you can elaborate on what your looking for and for what purpose
exactly you want to use the 'GIS engine'?

Small addition: I'm a biased person so when I read 'MapInfo' I took it
as shortcut for 'MapInfo Professional'. Maybe you meant 'any of the
mapping products provided by PBBI MapInfo' straight away when you said
'MapInfo' :-) Anyway, the answer is still the same, I think it would
be best to use a web based solution for integration with Sharepoint.
