You should be able to connect to the database using ODBC.
I recall having connected to its predecessor MySQL many years back in time.
However, I’m not sure if MapInfo Pro will support any spatial data stored in MariaDB, if it’s capable of handling this type of data.
You can however store coordinates and MapInfo Pro will be able to create points from these coordinate pairs when you open the table.
