The "m" is the units.
The 33 to the left of the units is the datum = Geodetic Reference System
1980 (GRS 80).
The 8 to the left of the 33 is the Projection type. 8 = Transverse
Mercator, (also known as Gauss-Kruger).
So after the "m" we have the Origin Long or the central meridian (153 deg)
= east coast Australia.
To the right of 153 we have 0 = Origin Latitude , Scale factor (0.9996) ,
False East in "m" , False Northing in "m".
