SQL help

I was wondering whether anyone could point me in the right direction
for some resource on SQL queries, my SQL is very limited.

There are some resources in the MapInfo Professional/MapBasic documentation.

 

- The chapter 7 in the MapInfo Pro v10 User Guide: Selecting and Querying Data
- The keyword Select in the MapBasic v10 Reference Guide

- Look up the Select word in the MI Pro 10 Help file

- Look up Expressions in the MI Pro 10 Help file

 

All these are of course MI Pro SQL syntax and will also cover the geographical support in SQL.

 

You can also find some resources online covering the basics of SQL, which will be more or less the same to all applications/databases.
