Hi,

There is a document supplied with Mapbasic called Errors.Doc that list all the errors. According to this error 673 = "^0 clause is not appropriate."  not sure what that means though!!

Hi,

I guess you need to get in contact with the developer of the tool.
Unless you can remember if you have changed something in your setup (table names, columns names etc...)

Greetings List,

I have come across a web site that has some very useful utilities for importing / exporting KML files to variours formats (as well as other GIS related tools)

There are two tools in particular  KML2SHP & SHP2KML that allow you to import /export KML files to / from Shape files.

I have used these two tools to successfully import KML files into Mapinfo and export Mapinfo layers to KML using the following methods

Steps used to import KML file to Mapinfo
----------------------------------------------------------
1) Download and run KML2SHP.exe from above site
2) Open KML file
3) Select Export SHP option from menubar and fill out and accept the resultant dialog
4) Open the SHP file in Mapinfo using *.shp file type option

Steps used to export Mapinfo files to KML
----------------------------------------------------------
1) Convert requiured Mapinfo layer to SHP file using Universal Translator
2) Download and run SHP2KML.exe from above site and follow prompts

There is also an online form at the same site http://www.zonums.com/online/kml2x.html that allows you to convert KML directly to TAB files (and other formats) but I have not been able to get it to work. If anybody has success with this method please let me know.

Regards
Peter
