Hello,

I want to draw route between two points.
Say i have two tab files, one is landmark file (point) and other one is road file (line/polyline). Landmarks are snapped on the road.

Please help if anyone have some idea.

Thanx in advance

Hi,

You can try our RouteFinder for MapInfo.

Kind regards

Hi Uffe,

Yes, i have gone through RouteFinder utility but I am not able to execute this on my tab file data.
There is no information provided for data structure (attributes) required to execute this.

This is good utility and running great on the sample data provided, but i want to use it on my files. Could u please provide some details for RouteFinder for MapInfo.

Thanx much.

Hi,

There is a chapter in the documentation called "your own data". We have at least tried to describe how the structure should be.

Thanx Uffe, this is fine.
Now i managed to run this tool on my data.

I think now it is not so tough to write code to draw a route using RouteFinder SDK. Do you have some thing on this like how we create network, how we create route programmatically by using RouteFinder DLL.
