This is not a major issue but I thought I'd ask. For all of the previous versions of MapInfo, when I'm working on an existing workspace and hit Save Workspace As, the popup box automatically populates with the currently opened workspace. This is extremely handy as I tend to use the same template for multiple workspaces when they are first being created, and I like the keep the names consistent for clients.

However, MI2019 doesn't do this. Ever. This has never been something that I've toggled off/on before so I don't know if that's the issue. I've looked through settings and options and I don't see anything about naming.

Does anyone know how to 'turn' that back on? If not, it's not a huge deal, just a bit of a PITA.

I'd love to hear of the trick that might make Christa's request work in v. 12.  The PITA she describes has been part of my SAVE WORKSPACE situation for 25 years with MapInfo. Auto saving to the folder that was home for the workspace file would be ideal, but even saving to most recently opened folder might ease my pain.
