MAPINFO 10.5 installation error

Hello everyone,

I need some help. Does anybody experienced the same error as the one in the screenshot? Mapinfo doesn't open at all after installation. It says Mapinfo professional has encountered a problem and needs to close. We tried reinstalling it but we always get the same error. Our client uses Windows xp sp3.

Hi Roel,   It's probably you will need to check the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 whether it was been installed on that computer or not. If it was installed already, trying to uninstall and reinstall it.
