There exists  DLL for this goal here:  www.wap3.com/download/gpx2tab.zip
But it does not work under MapInfo 19. I get the following message:
Unable to load gpx2tab.dll because it is not a 64-bit library
Does anyone have 64-bit version of this DLL?

Any chance you have access to MapInfo Pro v2021?

Here you can open GPX files directly.

Read more here: MapInfo Monday: New OGR Table Format in MapInfo Pro v2021

Alternatively, there is a tool (MapElements) in the MapInfo Marketplace that can load GPX files too.

Hello, Peter,
I need to return to my question from 2021 year. You suggested to open gpx-files directly in MapInfo 2021. Now we have MapInfo 2023. When we try to open a table in MapInfo 2023 there is no *.gpx in the list of accessible extensions. Then we try to open a gpx-file in Windows Explore by double click on the name. We get a dialog that requests license credentials (see the file attached).  This is not clear because we use in MapInfo with license. Could you help?

Hey Evgeny

In the Open dialog, select All Vector (OGR) formats (*.*) from the Files of Type list.

When you reopen the Files of Type list, it will now holds the GPX format.

Check the article for more details.

The GPX file type isn’t associated with MapInfo Pro so I’m unsure what products tries to open it when you double-click on the file.

Cheers

Peter
