Hi All,

We've recently upgraded to MapInfo 12.0.2 (under Windows 7 64-bit SP1) and when attempting to add the MapCAD tools using the Tool Manager we get the following error:

(cad_read_xml.mb:41) Library GmlXlat.dll was not found. Unable to link to external library GmlXlat.dll.

I've checked the MapInfo installation and found this dll does actually exist in the Program Files->MapInfo->Professional directory. The cad_read_xml.mb script, however, is nowhere to be found.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Any clues as to a possible fix?

Thanks in advance,

Mark.

Hi,

I think you should copy the dll to the MapCAD folder.

Probably a bug in the installer, because I don't think an mbx can locate any dll in a different folder than its own. Unless the dll is part of the system path.
