Hello all,
I'm looking for infrastructure symbols for MapInfo. Is anyone knew
where can I find it on the net?

Hi Yaron,

Its already there in MapInfo named as ERS v2 Infrastructures Stage 1-4. Isn't this the same one that you are looking for.

Regards,

Hi,
Unfortunately not. I'm looking for water/sewage infrastructure symbols
(for hydrant, valve and more), and I can't find anything which suit my
needs

Hi Yaron,

You can create custom symbols for MapInfo if you can't find what you need online. I believe it is detailed in the User Guide.

Yes you can find any images you want on google and save them, then add them to custom symbols. I have done it with logos and it works. You just need to use help menu to find out how to add the images, it's not difficult. HTH

Thank you all for your answers.
I thought to go through the lazy path and use some existing symbols,
but I think that I won't have any choice, but to create it.

Hi Yaron,

http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/explorer/index.html

The above link will take you to the ESRI site for downloading Arc
Explorer, a free viewer for Shapefiles. The download package, when
installed, will install the ESRI fonts, and will therefore include the
ESRI AMFM Water, Sewer, Electric & Gas range, plus heaps heaps more.

Also, if you want to view them before you download, a user (Jurg Engel)
has created an Excel spreadsheet with the fonts displayed - a terrific
resource! I could not locate it online and the files section of
Mapinfo-L is not working, so I have reattached it here.

Hope this helps,

Nat Bennett

If they are only point symbols that you need then you may be able to do it with a font (that has the symbols required). You can also add your own line styles with the line editor.
