I'm not aware of a tool that will , it would be nice. If you're working with an older version of MI that doesn't have an acceptable "work around" tool, you might try CutPline created by Jacques Paris many years ago, it will allow you to click the node of a selected polyline where you wish to cut or break it. It has a "Fast drive" option that will illiminate the extra user interaction of clicking dialogs.

You will have to select 2 links in advance or somehow add your own loop
around the function.
And this has been posted to the list before. Looong time ago, almost 10
years :-)
