Hi all,

I have a polygon table that has rows where some of the rows, the Name
column is identical, but both rows contain a different polygon. I
need to have only one polygon with one name, instead of 2 or more
polygons with the same name. (For example-New York City is listed 5
times in the table because it contains 5 seperate polygons).

Is there a way to combine the rows together where the names match? If
anyone knows of a way in sql or maybe an mbx I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Bob

Bob,

In the Table menu you'll find the function called Combine objects using column....
This will let you combine records with the same value in a specified column

Thank you. The Table->combine objects using column, is exactly what I
was looking for. I forgot that feature existed.

Thanks again,
Bob
