While Converting TAB Files to GST format, what all supporting files are required for conversion to happen in GST format using 'Geo set Manager' software which comes in MAPX installation Package. While opening TAB file, it is showing 'Image file opening error' (Screenshots are attached for your reference). Kindly suggest on how to go ahead.

What tab file type are you trying to open?
Is it a standard native tab file, an extended native tab file, or a tab file point to an image/raster grid?
Remember MapX is old and out of support.
A lot has happened to the various data formats MapInfo Pro, as an example, support since we stopped developing MapX.
There are various file formats MapX won’t support such as extended native tab files and various new raster or image file formats

Hi
That can very well be the problem.
TIFF and GeoTIFF files have evolved over the last years.
It might be the case that MapX can’t read this file format anymore
We have also changed how we work with raster grids in MapInfo Pro.
Earlier these were treated as grids but now we treat them as raster.
Looking at the side files it could seems that these files are grids, and not just “images”.
I’d think MapX may be able to show grid formats like MapInfo Grid and Vertical Mapper Grid.
But they can’t cope with the resolution of modern raster grids.
Feel free to reach out if you want to take this discussing offline
