After attending a webinar presenting the new MapInfo Pro Advanced 64 bit I was looking forward to running it on my new laptop, a Dell XPS with Windows 10. I installed the software using a MapInfo-Discover bundle licens, which includes the new Advanced function Raster. However, everything connected to Raster is not working! I always get an error message (in Swedish, although I use an English MapInfo version), saying something like "type initiation for MapInfo.RasterEngine.UL.Preferences.PreferenceManager produced an exception." (my own translation). I had contact with technical support via my Swedish retailer and they had contact with Pitney Bowes, but the poblem was not solved. They also had not heard of that kind of problem before. This is very frustrating! So, I wonder if really no one out there has run into this kind of problem?? Also, I very much appreciate any suggestions to solve this!
