Problems with MapInfo Pro Advanced - Raster

After attending a webinar presenting the new MapInfo Pro Advanced 64 bit I was looking forward to running it on my new laptop, a Dell XPS with Windows 10. I installed the software using a MapInfo-Discover bundle licens, which includes the new Advanced function Raster. However, everything connected to Raster is not working! I always get an error message (in Swedish, although I use an English MapInfo version), saying something like "type initiation for MapInfo.RasterEngine.UL.Preferences.PreferenceManager produced an exception." (my own translation). I had contact with technical support via my Swedish retailer and they had contact with Pitney Bowes, but the poblem was not solved. They also had not heard of that kind of problem before. This is very frustrating! So, I wonder if really no one out there has run into this kind of problem?? Also, I very much appreciate any suggestions to solve this!

Can you please confirm if you have Raster folder created under Appdata folder?
You can check Appdata folder by typing %appdata% in Search window.

If the Raster folder exist, please delete the content inside the folder and restart MapInfo Pro.

Hi,

thank you, but I got help from PB and the problem is solved! I needed to create the following folder C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\AppData\Roaming\MapInfo\Raster\200 and copy the files

MapInfoRasterUIPreferences.xml and MIRasterPreferences.xml to it. Since then, Raster is working!
