Hi everyone!

Does anyone know how to change the line styles that Mapinfo generates
via the KML option in Google Earth Pro?

I have a dashed line in my MapInfo layer - but every time I export it
to Google Earth it comes out as a solid line. The engineers here want
to distinguish between actual and proposed infrastructure. I have
looked at the KML files but without a User Guide to understand the
symbol styles I am a bit lost...........

Hi!

I think you need to create that symbology in Google Earth and then
re-save the kml from there.

In fact having looked through it, I dont think GE supports any kind
line except solid. I suppose you would have to change colour and
opacity to distinguish between styles.
