Draw a table in a layout

Is there any way to insert a table(regular rectangle text table, as in
excel) in a layout?

The regular metod is to insert into layout mapinfo table browsed as
list. But this metod ist'n good, because i can't change font size of
resulting table.

You can change the font of the browser - this will also be reflected in the layout window.

I think you can set the font thru the Set Window statement.

 

Otherwise I would recommend that you take a look at Crystal Report, that comes with MapInfo Professional.

That's a true report engine that let's you do a lot of stuff, that is impossible or at least very hard to do in an ordinary layout window.
