Had a question earlier that i'm sure has an answer but i can't seem to find it...

so someone has registered an image (which isn't north up) when they load it into the map window all their mapping / layers gets rotated to match the "north up" of the rotated image. is there an option to re-orientate the window to be north up again - or adjust the rotation of the window manually?

not normally an issue for me as i usually either rotate my images before registering them or do it in ArcGIS and export the referenced image but did get me thinking what the fix would be for this (if you don't have ArcGIS or can't rotate the images)

Goto Map Options, Image Procession and pick Optimized.

This will reproject the raster images to the coordinate system instead of reprojecting the vector layers to the raster orientation.
