Hi Alam,

You can open import the MIF in Mapinfo and then save as a tab file:

Table > Import

Then:

File > Save As

To convert MID/MIF to TAB:

1) In MapInfo go to menu item Table/Import...
2) In the resulting requester set "Files of type" to MapInfo Interchange (*.mif) and select your MIF file
3) It will then ask you for a name for the TAB file, which can be the same as that for MIF
4) On pressing 'SAVE' it will create a TAB file for you

Hi Alam

If you have many files to convert, use the mif2tab application.

It is a command line tool, but it is really easy to set up a batch file
to do it all for you.

I have a copy if you need it.
