Hi,

I cant seem to find the export to dxf in MapInfo Pro V11, it used to
be under tools, export. Is there a new method to do so?

Thanks,
Hayleigh

Universal Translator is the way forward. You'll find it in the Tool Manager

Hi List!

As many of you may know, UT is a severely disabled version of FME which in this case does  its job well, but nothing else.
Unfortunately the GUI for UT is hopelessly outdated, I would say it is more than ten years old.
Given the small interest that PB has shown for UT, I think that UT may be a way into a dead end.

My suggestion is that you move to a real FME version instead. With that, you can perform almost any geoprocessing thinkable; vector, raster and lidar alike.
See more at www.safe.com
I do not work for them, but love the software.

Regards, Mats.E

Ok Thanks.

Thats a real shame, exporting to dxf was very useful for selections of
data, now i will need to save the selection as a table and then use
the very outdated UT GUI. Nevermind back to an old version of MI for
me.

Thanks,
Hayleigh

I should probably add that we still support this thru MapBasic (also thru the MapBasic window) And you might be able to find some nice MapBasic tools that can help you out
