Hello,

I know i can convert a tab file to kml by using the Google Earth
Connection Utility.

However I'm not sure if theres a way I can also convert a thematic map
to open in google earth as well.

I've had a look through older posts but cant seem to find what im
looking for.

Basically i would like seperate tables of polylines and points to
display in google earth as the thematic map I have created in MapInfo.

Thanks for any help!!

Mark,

You could use the 'Hardcode Thematic' tool to replace the default object styles with the thematic style settings and then export the tabfile to kml. This will update the base table permanently, so if you don't want this then it's best to work on a separate copy of the table.

You can download the tool here - http://tinyurl.com/6xqusgu
