Hello all,
I am looking for sources for icons for the ribbon interface. Specifically, sources that can be relied upon to exist on a PC running Windows 10 and MapInfo v17 installed.
Firstly, we have MIPro’s StyleResources NET assembly "pack://application:,,,/MapInfo.StyleResources;component/Images/Application/menuButton_32x32.png"
Secondly we have the collection of legacy icons "pack://legacyorigin:,,,/"& MI_ICON_SYMBOL & ";Large"
But, are there other NET assembly that can be relied upon to exist on Windows 10?

Alternatively (and this is a long-term solution) can we suggest icons for Precisely to consider including into their icon set in the next release of MapInfo?
It would be nice to have a set of icons representing different landforms; forest, mountains, coast, and so on..

Hi Nick
I must admit that I have never looked for other icon resources.
I have mostly created my own.
I can see the idea of having some general purpose icons available, maybe as part of the MapInfo icons.
But I can also see a continued need to be able to create my own.
The icons you were referring to is that icons like these?

Would it be helpful if I set up a repository on Github with icon files likes these?
I already have a folder with a few icons with my mbLibrary on Github.
But maybe that needs a bit more cleaning as it holds both the icons for the older 32 bit applications as well as newer ones.
The idea size currently is 32 but 32 pixels for the large icons, and 16 by 16 for the small icons. And PNG with a transparent background.
PS: Just to make sure you know, you can refer to individual image files, for example in a sub folder where your application is located.
