Missing Ruler Window

When using the Ruler tool in MapInfo 9.5 the actual ruler window which
shows the total distance figure does not appear. It is not hiding
behind any window and I have also tried re-adding the tool but the
window is nowhere to be seen!

Try copying this statement into your MapBasic window, position the cursor in the line and hit the Enter key on your keyboard.

You can open the MapBasic window thru Options > Show MapBasic window

 

Set Window Ruler Position (0,0)

 

The position of the Ruler window has probably been stored in a workspace.
