Split object tool in v15. Where is it is v17?

Hello Group,

 

In MapInfo 15 there was an excellent tool called something like split object. It was in the MapCAD tools. Sorry, I’m on v17 now and cannot look it up to see what the tool was exactly called.

 

You’d simply put a polygon layer into edit mode, select the tool and draw a line through a polygon object. The polygon would split along those lines in one action. It was a great tool and by-passed the process required in earlier versions of MapInfo where you had to draw a polyline feature first then select it, set target and cut. It’s used to be such a drama, but the split object tool (or whatever it was called) simplified that whole process.

 

Anyway, the tool doesn’t seem to be in version 17.0.3. Does anyone know what happened to it? I’ve looked though MapCAD and the SPATIAL>EDIT>Split, but they are not the same.
