Copy - Paste in MapInfo Table

a quick one, does mapinfo table has an option like excel (Ctr-Shift -down) to copy the whole field and paste it on another one in the same table

I use the copy style/attribute tool a fair amount and find it very useful but would love to have Excel style drag down of data, so I'll be intrigued to see if you get other answers with solution I am not aware of.
