Good Morning All,
I think this may be very straight forward but cannot seem to work it out.
Every time I open my MapInfo session I drag and drop my toolbars to where i want them (docked on the top of the screen). Every time i close MapInfo and open again the toolbars default to the old position.
How can I save the changes I have made to the position of the toolbars (does any know where this is controlled)
Many thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Andrew,
Go to:
Options>Toolbars and simply set docked or floating as you prefer.

Tim,
Thanks for your response. I have tried to do this so many times and it only seems as if it is session based, every time I close the software and open it again it goes back to floating toolbars.
I don’t know if anyone has any other ideas?

Andrew,
If you are using a version below 10 then right click on an empty space on the toolbar and tick the box ‘Save as default’. Version 10+ should remember your last settings when it loads.

Tom
Hi Andrew,
In older versions that Toolbars palette had a ‘Set as Default’ option on it, but that seems to have gone in 10 and 10.5. I have only just started using 10.5 but I have just tried quitting and restarting and the toolbars have stayed where I put them.
I am at a loss as to why yours are not doing so. You are doing a normal exit and it isn’t crashing on exit or anything funny?
