Guyz,

I have 2 folders (for e.g.), each one folder contains have mapinfo ".tab, .map, .ind, .dat, .id" files.

I want to merge 2 or more different tab files into 1 tab file.

Note: All the files have the same structure.

Regards,
Aejaz

Thank you for your email.

Please bear with me being novice.

Can I copy and paste in tab files, while remaining in  mapinfo ? I tried copying it via Selecting all records in one tab file and then pasting it in excel but the record I have in tab file is greater then the capacity of the excel sheet.

Regards,
aejaz

Download Append2.mbx from http://www.directionsmag.com/files/index.php/view/174
which "Appends similarly structured MI tables. Works either
interactively or in batch mode. There is no limit to the number of
files one can combine."
