I converted regions to polylines and now I have overlapping polylines.

Does anyone have a simple of removing the overlapping shared polyline
without having to delete each one separately.

Here's a general procedure you can use which assumes that you original
regions had matching boundaaries.

1) Convert to Polylines as you did.
2) Combine all these polylines into one big polyline. This process
will remove the duplicate boundary sections. (Objects Combine)
3) Disaggregate the big polyline object to individual sectional
polylines (Objects Disaggregate).

You should now have a set of polylines where each polyline represents
an original boundary section from the original data set.

that way don't you think there will hundreds of smaller segments, which are suppose to be a single line. anyway thats the best option to convert the region to a polyline- but there will be cut lines at every intersections..

Hi Eric,

That worked perfectly. Not sure why I didn't think of that.
KTG - yes I have lots of lines now but it doesn't matter.

All the best
