By default when I undock a Map window it has the Table, Map, and Spatial ribbon tabs available.

We have successfully created our own custom ribbons but they only display on the main interface.

Is there a way to set a custom ribbon tab to automatically display on any undocked map or browser window by default?

Thank you,

Jay Russell

Hi Jay

No, you need to do this via your own procedures.

So you need to detect when a window gets undocked and then add your controls to the ribbon of the window.

In the IMapInfoPro.def you can find this method: MIProGetFltingWindowRibbon

This will give you a reference to the ribbon of the floating window.

Then you can modify this ribbon in the way you want.

If you are using the RibbonLib, I must confess that it doesn’t support this yet
