Hi everyone,

I downloaded a map from marineregions.org. I made a lot of changes, removed (deleted) a lot of regions. But it seems like the size of a map didn't change. Is it possible to change the map distance from frame?

As you will see, edited map is in the same place as the old one. These two images are made after I clicked "View Entire Layer.."

Try packing the table (graphical objects and data), that might do it. Looks like the bounds need to be recalculated.

I tried to adjust Aspect Ratio, but it might be there isn't such possibility in evaluation version, because options weren't where they supposed to be according to User Guide..

not sure on what you need but maybe the coordsys bounds manager may help...you can optimize bounds of your table....

Seems like it helps. I drawed bounds in mapinfo and saw, that they are smaller than before. However, when I imported gst file to COGNOS Map Manger, map was same condition as before.

If you have done a lot of editing then Pack the table.
Packing the table will delete the deleted records and reset the bounds.

you might need to save out the table with optimized bounds to a different table name before importing it into COGNOS....
