Linking Photograph to a map symbol

I want to link the photograph of a bridge to a bridge symbol on the
map.
Would like to know the process of doing this.

Hello Jasbir

You need to use the Hotlink tool (and set up the link via the button in
layer control). The MapInfo help on this is good if I remember rightly.

Hi,

Also, if you open up the imageas a raster in mapinfo but dont register it, mapinfo will give the image a tab file. if you then add a hyperlink as Sue says but to the tab file rather than the iamge itself, your photos will open up in mapinfo rather than a different program.
