Display Polish Text in Layout

Hi all,

I've been asked to display a series of figures where all the displayed text will be in the Polish language (we are releasing two versions of the drawings, one in English and one in Polish). Someone is providing me with the text so I should just be able to copy and paste it into MapInfo. However, each time I try to copy the Polish characters through into Layout it just reverts to standard non-cyrillic text. What am I missing?

I'm working in MapInfo 15.0 (32 bit version).

Hi Steve

 

MapInfo Pro doesn’t support Unicode.

You can however make it support a single “special” character set at a time.

To do so, you need to run MapInfo Pro in the locale of this character set, for example Russian to display Cyrillic text.

 

If you have access to a newer 64-bit version of MapInfo Pro, Unicode is supported.

That makes it possible to use a mixture of character sets.
