Hi everybody,

I’d like to ask if anybody has, or knows how to create an Isochrone using the road network but based on distance rather than time?

I thought it would be a fairly basic function using Routefinder for MapInfo, but the only distance related functions seem to be between specified points on tables.

I have been asked to supply maps of distance related Isochrones which take into account the road network rather than using the standard Buffer zones.

Can anyone help?

Hi Nigel,

In RouteFinder you just have to change from Fastest to Shortest (route options), then it becomes based upon distance, rather than time. In all functions.

Kind regards
