Hi ,

We are trying to add OSM_Roads.TAB in the mws and try to use in the Mapxtreme application. But we are getting the error when we tried to open the mws file. But this mws is able to open in MapInfo Professional successfully.

I have two queries

1)      1) OSM_Roads. Tab file is designed only for using in MapInfo Professional

2)      2)  Is there any option to use this in MapXtreme application

Why we are doing this ?

Inorder to avoid MapDiv and use Map Contorl. So that our application can be built entirely on Mapxtreme coding without using Open Street map.

Any help would be appreciated .

Thanks,
Rajhpandian N

Hi,

Your TAB file points to a tile server, which may be unsupported by mapxtreme. I.e. a feature that has been added to MapInfo (in 10.5) after the release of mapxtreme.

I don't know about work arounds or if a later version of mapxtreme supports it.

Kind regards

Hi Rajhpandian,

Check out the UserDrawLayer class. There is a code sample on our web site I think might interest you : http://communitydownloads.pbinsight.com/code-exchange/download/tile-user-draw-layer/
