Indonesian projections

Can someone point me in the right direction for a projection file for
Indonesia.
Most recent datum.
Thks in advance.

We use Longitude Latitude and UTM, but there is a local projection called TM3.

TM3 zone actually is a UTM zone that was divided by 2 (north to south) so it will label 49.1 and 49.2.

Not all people using TM3. Most recent is LL and UTM.

MI file? Indonesian tab file or mapinfow.prj?

This is indonesian tm3 zones and projection file for arcgis (file *.prj)

zery, can you tell me which method are better for measuring area with gps waypoint

1.  Konvert gps waypoint to TM3 projection then konvert it to polygon, calculate geometri

or

2, Konvert gps waypoint to polygon, then konvert to TM3

this two method will give different value, which one is better ???? thanks
