Group,
It is time to upgrade the mouse. Does anyone have a mouse that works well with MapInfo, or can anyone recommend a mouse that does not kill the wrist after clicking several hundred times a day?

Hi Tim,
I’d highly recommend what I did about a year ago …buy a Wacom Intuos 3 Graphire Tablet. I purchased the 6 X 8” version, but you can go one size higher or lower if you wish.
However the 6 X 8” version seems ideal as you don’t have to move your hand too much, and you are actually tracing (digitizing) with a pen stylus.
It interfaces directly with Windows, and thus works seamlessly with MapInfo …it just appears as a mouse.
In fact, I also have a regular mouse connected (both to USB ports), and so at any time I can switch between them and no conflicts occur in any of the programs I use.
I’m now considering getting a Wacom Cintiq tablet, which allows you to trace onto an LCD screen. The only drawback is that the cost of this piece of hardware is significantly higher.
To that end, is anyone on the list using the Cintiq or any other LCD touch screen to digitize with?
Regards,
Bill
