convert region to polyline

Hello

Hopefully a simple one ...

How do I convert regions to polylines in 12.5. When I select a region or multiple regions the CONVERT TO POLYLINE button on the spatial ribbon is greyed out. I used to do this without issue in previous versions.

You need to select the objects that you want to convert first and the layer needs to be set to editable.

Thanks for replying, that's not the problem but its always worth checking!
I'm pretty sure I've been doing this since 5.5.  So I am wondering what is wrong with the context that this particular option is disabled when others such as reshape are enabled?

The other possibility is that you have selected a rectangle or ellipse object

(not strictly a polygon in MapInfo terms) but that seems to work on my v12.5.4 64-bit.

Are you using 12.5.4?

I was on 12.5.3 and now that I have downloaded the .4 patch the convert to polylines tool is working. Many thanks for your help.
