aggregate or combine polygons based on attribute?

I would like to combine polygons containing the same attribute value
is the only way in mi pro to write some loop that jumps thrue each
value selects and then does a combine operation? or is there som built
in aggregate by query.
I know about the sql "aggregate by" but it just brings upp a
aggregated table right?

Did you try the function Table > Combine Objects Using Column...?

I think this function will exactly do what you want.
