Get x y coordinates from centroid objects in UTM

hi! I am trying to get the x y coordinates from a several points with the centroid xy command ( update column) but I only achieve lat/long points and I want to get this coordinates in UTM . anyone knows how I can get it??? thank you very much

You need to specify the coordsys to be used before extracting the coordinates.
If your table is stored with a UTM based coordinate system, use this statement:

Set CoordSys Table NAME_OF_TABLE

Also I would recommend you to have a look at the tool Coordinate Extractor that comes with MapInfo Pro.
The source code for the tool comes with MapBasic
