transparency in thematic maps

Is there a way that during the creation of a thematic map that you can
assign a level of transparency to the classes within the thematic map?

I know u can set transparencies on style overrides but i can not seem
to find a way to do this in the thematic map options?

apologies in advance if this is a blatently obvious and a simple fix.

never mind i just found it - still getting used to the layout of
mapinfo 10!! (can set transparency on a thematic via the layer
properties button in layer control)
