Access reports using MapInfo window

Hi Guys

 

I have been asked to create reports in Access using a MapInfo window.

 

We have a form in the database which includes a map window and all the MI functionality is there.

 

We have tried to create a report based on this form, and the mapinfo window object on the report just displays the full extent of the tables open.

 

Is there something I'm missing to be able to get the form window to be mirrored in the report window.

 

We are using Access 2003 and MapInfo 7 (These will not be updated any time soon, unless theres a business case).

 

Will later versions of MI let me generate these reports, including maps, natively?
