Divide line into sections of set length

Hi all,
I am wanting to divide a number of lines (and polylines) into sections
of equal lengths. This could be by either splitting each line into
sections 250m long or splitting each line into X sections of equal
length. I have tried a number of different mapinfo tools that
apparently should work but none of them do-possibly due to them not
being compatible with MI Professional 11.

Could anyone provide me with a link to the appropriate tool or
mapbasic text?

Hi Owen,
I have done and the output file is identical to the input file (i.e.
nothing appears ot happen). There was a suggestion that the tool only
works with non-earth projecons but it doesnt seem to work whatever
projection I use.

Thats odd, works fine for me (9.5, British National Grid). As the tool specifies metres as the unit, do you need to choose metres in your preferences?

Nope, that is not the issue. The tool 'works' but always produces the
original line in the output with no division/s or change in line
length.

Did you find any solution for that?

I also try to split a map in WGS84 projections, but the result is the same as the input table.
