Hello all,

I have a number of air photos as jpegs that are accompanied by small .jgwx files of the same name. Is there a way to convert the georef info therein into a tab file?

Cheers

Alison

Hi Alison!
The jgwx file is an approximate world file. The added x to the familiar jgw extension tells this. It means that the georeferencing of the image needed more data than the crude one point - no projection info offered by the standard world file.
I suggest that you perform a new georeferencing in Mapinfo, taking care that you set the correct projection for the orthophoto.
