Mac Mojave Compatibility

Do you know when MapForge will be compatible with Mac Mojave's operating system? I would prefer not needing to downgrade my operating system.

I haven't heard that it isn't. Are you having problems launching MapForge in Mojave?

Under macOS 10.15, the app will not launch. I just downloaded 11.5.9r629

Mark, did you do the Gatekeeper/Terminal thing mentioned here?

I did. But it didn’t work.

I’m running 10.15 beta (aka Catalina). A number of apps that I had went the way of “no longer supported”.

The issue with Catalina *seems* to be that Mapforge is 32 bit? And that’s no-longer supported.

Correct, which is why Catalina isn't listed under the supported macOS versions in MapForge's System Requirements (although I do think I need to add Mojave, if someone can confirm it's running OK there).

However, it will still be possible to run 32-bit apps under Catalina, using an Apple-approved method. I'll be posting more info about that later.

Cool, because I had just heard about Mapforge, Amy was plann8ng to give it a go, but I am a Catalina user...
