Hi Heruca,
Good to know that you have already caught this one. There is no great rush to fix this as i'm still copying across the floor plans so can wait for the full patch.
I have installed MF in C:/documents/MapForge and made sure it wasn't in the Programs directory so have full access to the folder. If I set the icon to run as admin and in compatibility (A&C) mode for vista sp2 i get the following errors.
Opening the large map only shows the top left 50x50 squares and I have to change the grid layout to a to Huge for 110x110 then back to Large for 100x100 to get it to draw the rest of the grid (this happens even if i don't run in A&C mode but just thought i should mention it).
After getting the 100x100 file to display the grid only show the 50x50 that it opened with. If not running A&C then the grid covers the full map area.
When i try and export the map via File>export map as a jpeg and turn off both Grid Overlay and Include GM only info the progress bar runs and the file save dialog opens. When I give it a name and click save I get the following error messages
There was a problem copying temp file. Error code 1
There was a problem saving the map error code 181. export time 62.2 seconds
And I get no map saved no matter which file type i choose.
If I leave Grid Overlay and Include GM info ticked then after the progress bar completes i get the following error
Four parameters expected. Script error continue? Yes/No
If i click no then MF exits and if i click yes then i get a blue circular "im doing stuff" tool which just spins. Task manager shows that MF is using 0.8% of my cpu and that's all that happens until i cancel it on the export maps dialog and yet again no map output.
So by not using A&C i at least get some output.
The reason that i'm using a 100x100 grid is because i'm creating a large catacomb under my city of 60k people based upon real world catacombs. So im building the sections that are orthoginal to themselves individually and then joining them to the next piece which is at a different angle in photoshop. Once it is complete I will cut it up into sensible sized chunks for use with roll20 etc... I could use smaller pieces if that solved some of the above problems but would mean more stitching in photoshop.
All the best and looking forward to your reply.
